Kenneth Wong, is a founding Managing Partner with the firm, has 27 years of experience working in the U.S. and Asian markets. Mr. Wong is the President of a U.S. based insurance brokerage firm specializing in the Asian American business market. He was appointed by President George W. Bush to the President's Advisory Commission for Asian American & Pacific Islanders, is a founder of the Philadelphia Hong Kong Trade Development Association and serves as a Director on the board of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber Commerce. He is the first Asian American to serve in this capacity. He brings a wealth of business and political contacts to our China and North American venture.

Scott Smith, is a founding Managing Partner with the firm and was a founding Partner of KPMG Consulting, a $2.5 billion dollar consulting firm that is now know as BearingPoint. He has over 25 years of global management consulting expertise assisting clients improve business operations by evaluating and implementing new business processes and technologies. While at BearingPoint, he served; a one-year term on the Firms Leadership Team; on the Financial Services Leadership team; on the Global SAP leadership team. His prior experience includes management consulting and project management experience at PriceWaterhouse and IBM. He brings a wealth of global business knowledge, management consulting, and project management experience to the venture. 

Jennifer Yao,  is the Director of China operations. She is located in Beijing China. She holds an MBA from Rutgers in Finance and Marketing. Her background is in pharmaceuticals, insurance, manufacturing, sales and marketing. Ms. Yao has a deep understanding of how to do business in China today. She puts her skills and expertise to work for clients in market studies, outsourcing and project management. She has particular knowledge and expertise in the pharmaceutical and consumer sales industry within China. She maintains a wide range of contacts and relationships throughout China in the governmental and business arenas. These relationships are extremely helpful to SmithWong Associates in business advisory projects, relationship management projects as well as business systems projects.
